Welcome to my portfolio!

As a communication and webmaster officer at the Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in the United States, I contributed to enhancing the service’s online presence and outreach. I was responsible for creating the service’s visual identity: « France Science », which involved developing a cohesive and compelling brand image.

I spearheaded the complete overhaul of all communication materials (program’s flyer, kakemonos, business cards, Powerpoint presentations), ensuring they aligned with the new brand guidelines and were impactful in delivering key messages for the scientific diplomacy public. My experience at the Embassy honed my skills in comprehensive communication planning for digital content and storytelling strategy, including initiatives such as the 2023 photo competition and the ‘France Science Summit.’ Managing the digital presence of ‘France Science,’ I engaged communities on platforms like X and LinkedIn. I also crafted monthly newsletters, delivering content with a focus on the scientific Franco-American context to stakeholders.

I participated in the redesign of the official website: france-science.com, using Adobe XD for the design. I also perform weekly maintenance on the website on Wordpress. This project involved aesthetic enhancements and strategic improvements to the user experience. This new website serves as a dynamic platform, integrating multimedia content, articles and videos.

My experiences for a national institution, government and UNICEF in communication allowed me to hone my skills in engaging content, managing social media channels, and implementing communication strategies. Also, during my two years of volunteering with UNICEF France, I collaborated closely with the communication service in Paris for two national campaigns. The first campaign focused on volunteer recruitment, while the second aimed to promote voluntary civic service within the organization. Additionally, I creating campaigns for the UNICEF regional team, addressing issues such as air pollution affecting millions of children.

Trained in communication tool creation, I am proficient in Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (my graphic creations can be viewed on my website and my professional Instagram account: @yellowhelo_design).

A last word?

In 2022, I undertook a humanitarian trip to Senegal, where I witnessed poverty firsthand for the first time. I saw how people struggled with limited access to education, food, and healthcare. This eye-opening experience impacted me, altering my perspective on life and deepening my commitment to making a difference.

It is paramount for me to align with organizations dedicated to advocating for human rights. I believe that communication serves as the cornerstone for raising awareness on crucial matters.
